The India Space Academy (ISA) is pleased to announce the commencement of its Winter Training Program 2026. As the global space economy expands, there is a critical need for skilled professionals who can navigate the complexities of satellite data and geospatial analytics. Participants are invited to enrol in one of the following two technical tracks:
- Remote Sensing and GIS: From Satellite Data to Machine Learning
Eligibility Criteria The program is structured to accommodate a diverse cohort of participants, including:
- Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD candidates (Current or Graduated).
- Research Scholars and Academic Faculty.
- Working professionals from both the Government and Private sectors.
Program Architecture The curriculum is delivered in two distinct phases to ensure a comprehensive transition from theory to application:

- Phase I: Training & Technical Instruction:A 15-day intensive online module comprising theoretical lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions. Instruction is facilitated by a distinguished panel of Scientists and Experts from ISA, IITs, ISRO, DRDO and affiliated premier institutions.
- Phase II: Project Execution & Internship:Following the instructional phase, participants will engage in specialised project work. To successfully conclude the program and demonstrate technical proficiency, participants must complete at least two projects in accordance with the provided guidelines and technical rubrics..
Certification and Professional Recognition Certification is contingent upon the level of program engagement:
- Training Certificate (15 Days):Awarded upon the successful completion of Phase I (Training Phase).
- Internship Completion Letter (45 Days):Issued only to participants who complete the mandatory project phase (Phase II).
